I had the privilege of participating in the 14th Annual UPwithART event for the Unity Project, which ran from April 25 to May 4, 2024, at the Museum London. This incredible event is a powerful fusion of art and community, bringing together over 60 donated works for auction, with proceeds supporting the Unity Project’s mission to address homelessness in our city. One of the highlights of this exhibition is the “Arty-Party” on May 4, where everyone gathers with the artists, art lovers, and advocates for social change.

For this year's event, I contributed my digital artwork Organic Skins #1, a piece that’s part of a broader exploration of the balance between fluidity and structure. It blends traditional methods with digital manipulation, starting with photographing dried paint fragments (resin skins) and transforming them into organic shapes. The process aims to bridge the gap between the tangible and the digital, creating a visual language that reflects the dynamic energy of life. The piece invites viewers to reflect on the coexistence of chaos and order, capturing movement and emotion in a single form. I made a video on Instagram showing the process It took to make this artwork, if you want to see it you can check it out here.

Several notable artists and community leaders took part in this year’s event. Mitra Sheeram, who served as the Communications Coordinator for Museum London, played a key role in organizing and promoting the event. Beyond the auction, there were also performances and a community quilting project, making it a truly immersive experience.

It was an honor to be part of such a meaningful initiative that supports creativity and community resilience.
