This summer I had the chance to participate in the Simple Reflections for Artists Festival at Covent Garden Market in Downtown London, Ontario. This vibrant cultural event, organized by the Simple Reflections for Artists Collective, featured live painting, diverse art displays, and engaging performances. The festival highlighted local talent and celebrated London's multicultural community through various art forms, including dance, music, and visual arts.

Throughout the day, visitors experienced a rich variety of performances, from Latin rhythms by the Latin Power Band to mesmerizing belly dance by Rising Moon Bellydancing. Notably, artists like Diego Tamayo (digital art) and Amsa Yaro (mixed media) contributed to the dynamic showcase, which brought together over 20 cultural expressions.

A special thanks to Dario Novoa, founder and coordinator of Simple Reflections, and the many volunteers who made this event possible. Their dedication to fostering an inclusive space for artists is commendable, as is the support from Covent Garden Market and organizations like the Ontario Arts Council.
