For the second edition of the Simple Reflections Collective: Forest City Fusion Art Exhibition held at TAP Centre for Creativity in London, Ontario, I had the privilege of helping curate and install the show. The exhibition ran from September 24 to October 12, 2024, with the opening reception taking place on September 26th. This year, the exhibition presented a vibrant selection of works from 20 local artists representing 11 different countries of origin. Their works, spanning mediums such as digital art, sculpture, acrylics, watercolors, and mixed media, explored diverse themes including landscapes, female forms, geometric shapes, light, and cityscapes.
A special thank you goes to Sandra De Sosa, director of TAP Centre for Creativity, and Amber Lloydlangston, assistant professor at the University of Western Ontario, for their incredible support in helping us with the curation and selection of the artworks. Sandra and her dedicated team at TAP assisted with the curating and installation, ensuring that each piece was thoughtfully displayed, creating a cohesive and immersive experience for all visitors. The collective effort and collaboration of everyone involved made this event a true celebration of the local art scene.
The exhibition featured artists like Amsa Yaro, Adora, Brad Spencer, Catherine Eichstedt, Dario Novoa, Daniel Sanchez, Edgar Castro, Edward DeMarsh, Ilona Burghardt, Karoline Feagan, Katharina Bilka, Kris Popiolek, Larissa Medeiros, Luiza Kaminska, Michelle Ellis, Selma Popovic, Diego Trujillo, Yana Litus, and Diego Tamayo, as well as my own contribution as G. Harley Salamanca. Each artist brought something unique to the exhibition, highlighting the diversity of talent in London’s creative community.

A special thanks to Tasty Affairs Canada for the amazing refreshments provided on the night of the opening! You guys can check their services here.
