The Forest City Fusion Art Exhibition at TAP Centre for Creativity was a night to remember. On October 5th, 2023, I had the honor of being part of this incredible celebration of talent, culture, and creativity, curated by Simple Reflections for Artists. With 20 artists from 14 countries showcasing works in diverse mediums like digital, acrylic, watercolor, oil, mixed media, and photography, the exhibition became a true reflection of London’s vibrant artistic community.

As part of the curatorial and jurying team, it was an exciting experience to help bring the show together. I also had the privilege of contributing to the exhibition with several pieces from my "Surreal Landscapes" series. This body of work, which focuses on blending geometry, light, and subconscious landscapes, fits perfectly into the diverse visual narratives on display. My pieces invite viewers into otherworldly, surreal environments that ask them to reflect on the boundaries between perception and reality.

Among the incredible artists featured, Diego Tamayo, Luiza Kaminska, Amsa Yaro, and Shane Wilcox stood out, each bringing their own cultural influence and artistic mastery to the space. Whether it was Luiza Kaminska's mixed media work or Amsa Yaro's bold explorations of identity, each piece resonated with the themes of diversity and connection that we celebrated that evening.

The night wasn’t just about visual art. The performers added their unique energy to the event, making it truly unforgettable. Santiago "Vlaki" and Diego Cortes brought the crowd together with their freestyle rap, while Big Lou and Kristien Renee kept the momentum going with their passionate performances. One of the most engaging acts of the evening was the Suyai Duo — Mauricio and Viviana from Chile, who showcased the beauty of Latin American music with their soulful melodies. Adding a dramatic flair, Gianny Correa delivered a powerful saxophone performance that perfectly complemented the mood of the exhibition, guiding everyone through the experience.
The exhibition’s success wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work and dedication of several people. Sandra De Salvo, Amber Lloydlangston, and Jennifer Martino deserve special thanks for their exceptional help in organizing and putting together the event. Their passion and commitment were instrumental in ensuring everything ran smoothly.

The Forest City Fusion Art Exhibition ran from October 4th to October 14th, 2023, and it was a powerful reminder of the strength and diversity within our local arts community. I’m incredibly proud to have been part of this event and to have shared the space with so many talented individuals. I’m already looking forward to the next chapter in our artistic journey! here are some photos of some friends and family who came to support us, again, always greatfull for their support!
