ARTS4B - Epoxy Dining Table Repairs: A Project for SoHo’s Tacos & Tequila Restaurant

Recently, I was commissioned through Arts4B to repair and transform dining tables for SoHo’s Tacos & Tequila, a vibrant Mexican restaurant located at 466 South St, London, ON N6B 1C3. The goal was to enhance the tables with an epoxy design that reflected the owner’s vision, using red and white as the primary colors.

The Process:

1. Preparation: Each table was carefully sanded and primed to create a smooth surface for the epoxy application.

   

   

2. Design Execution: I poured layers of epoxy, blending the colors to achieve a sleek, custom finish. One concept we explored was incorporating a red pigment that would either glow in the dark or react under blacklight. While we ultimately decided against this, it added an exciting layer to the creative process.

The final result was a modern yet bold design that complements the lively atmosphere of SoHo’s Tacos & Tequila, adding a touch of artistry to their dining space. If you're ever in the area, stop by for great food and a look at the custom tables!
