I have been commissioned to create an artwork to be display on the ceiling

I had previously created small paintings that could hang from the ceiling, but this time the customer wanted a painting that would glow under fluorescent light and that had a different shape, not just a square like all regular paintings. on top of that, he wanted it to work both as a painting and as a lighting fixture. I mean, it was a lot to include in a single project, but I knew I could make it work. First, I came up with an L-shape design, which he liked, approved and we went with it.
