I had the honor of participating in the annual Colores de Latinoamérica exhibition, organized by Alfredo Caxaj and Sandra De Salvo at TAP Centre for Creativity. This event was a true celebration of Latin American culture, where I presented new works from my What If series, alongside a piece from my Private Collection series.

The What If series explores the question of what the works of historical artists would look like if they had access to today's technology and digital tools. It explores how their masterpieces might evolve in our modern world. In contrast, the Private Collection series touches on personal and intimate moments, capturing vulnerability and deep reflection in my art.

This year’s exhibition, which ran from Tuesday, January 31 to Saturday, February 4, 2017, featured the work of talented artists including Nina Antonini (Venezuela), Christian Castelblanco (Colombia), Mirna Chacin (Venezuela), Irma Gutierrez (Mexico), Tania Iraheta (Chile), Peru Dyer Jalea (Peru), and myself, G. Harley Salamanca (Colombia). The exhibition was hosted at The Arts Project, located at 203 Dundas Street in London, Ontario, and was open Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.

I am deeply grateful to all my friends and family who supported the exhibition and visited the show, and once again, a huge thank you to Alfredo Caxaj, Sandra De Salvo, and all the wonderful team at TAP Centre for Creativity for making this event possible. It was a pleasure to be part of this vibrant display of Latin American art.
